Kolhapur: Adding a remarkable chapter to his young sporting career, 10-year-old Ayansh Patil has emerged as the  2026 National Karting Champion in the Micro Max category, bringing pride to Kolhapur and Maharashtra. His achievement marks a significant milestone in the journey of one of India’s promising young motorsport talents.

Ayansh’s championship success reflects his determination, racing skills, consistency and ability to perform under pressure in a highly competitive national field. Competing against talented young drivers from across the country, he demonstrated impressive pace, racecraft and discipline throughout his championship campaign.

Early Training at V Park Go Karting, Kolhapur

Ayansh’s motorsport journey began at V Park Go Karting in Kolhapur, where he received his initial karting training under the guidance of Sachin Mandody. This early exposure to karting helped lay the foundation for his development as a young racing driver, introducing him to the fundamentals of track driving and the skills required to compete in motorsport.

His journey from initial training in Kolhapur to winning a national championship highlights the importance of early exposure, consistent practice and expert guidance in nurturing young sporting talent. His achievement also brings attention to the role local karting facilities and mentors can play in encouraging aspiring racers.

Team M Sport’s Role in His Development

A key role in Ayansh’s continued development has been played by Team M Sport, under the guidance of experienced motorsport mentors  Sachin Mandody, Chittesh Mandody, Ruhaan Alva and Armaan Ebrahim.Their coaching, technical guidance and support have contributed to the young racer’s growth and preparation for the demands of competitive karting.

Karting at the national level requires far more than outright speed. Drivers must master braking points, racing lines, overtaking strategies, tyre management and split-second decision-making. Ayansh’s championship-winning performance highlights the importance of combining natural talent with structured training, technical preparation and mental resilience.

A Milestone for a Young Motorsport Talent

The achievement is also a testament to the collective effort of the racing team and Ayansh’s family, whose encouragement and commitment have supported his development. Behind every successful race lies extensive preparation, practice sessions and a continuous effort to improve performance.

For Ayansh, the national title is both a reward for his hard work and a stepping stone towards greater ambitions. With his sights set on higher levels of competition, the young champion will aim to build on this success and pursue opportunities on the international karting circuit.

His victory is an inspiring moment for aspiring young racers in Maharashtra. His journey from his initial training at V Park Go Karting in Kolhapur under Sachin Mandody to the national championship podium demonstrates how early opportunities, dedication, expert guidance and a strong support system can contribute to the development of young athletes.

Ayansh Patil’s triumph as the 2026 National Micro Max Karting Champion is a proud achievement for Kolhapur, Team M Sport and Indian motorsport. From his early days at V Park Go Karting to success on the national stage, his journey marks an exciting milestone for a young racer with ambitions beyond the national circuit.
